\u201cIs the problem here that maybe Galvin was over hyped at the beginning and the media around him and how amazing he was and the best prodigy in the game and all that?\u201d host Braith Anasta asked.<\/p>\n
Journalist Andrew Webster pointed out that it was in fact Gould, the Bulldogs\u2019 General Manager of Football, who had lavished praise upon Galvin in the media.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom the bloke that signed him,\u201d Webster replied, referencing Gould.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut they drove that narrative,\u201d Crawley added.<\/p>\n
\u201cWho drove it?\u201d Anasta asked Crawley.<\/p>\n
\u201cGus did. When he came out and said \u2018he\u2019s the best teenager I\u2019ve ever seen,\u2019\u201d Crawley responded.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve all over many decades seen some bloody good teenagers come along.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd can you say Lachlan Galvin is definitively even in the top group? Let alone the best of the best.<\/p>\n

Co-host Gorden Tallis believes Galvin wouldn\u2019t be in the top 10 teenagers Gould has seen, with no need for the Bulldogs – who won their first six games of the season – to replace Sexton with Galvin.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe thing for me, if I\u2019m a Dogs fan, if I put my Dogs fan hat on, it wasn\u2019t broken,\u201d Tallis said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were going along, we were getting 60,000, the buzz was there, the drums were beating.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd they changed what wasn\u2019t broken. I think they haven\u2019t improved.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I think the Tigers have improved once he\u2019s left. And for some reason it\u2019s not working.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the moment, would you say the Dogs were better six weeks ago? I would say yes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Galvin is just 20 years of age and is playing just his second season of first grade.<\/p>\n
Crawley believes these are his main issues.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe biggest question that I certainly had was not so much that Galvin hasn\u2019t got the talent but it\u2019s the experience and his age,\u201d Crawley added.<\/p>\n
