Standing at 6-foot-2, the elite point guard was a three-year starter on UCLA\u2019s varsity squad from 1962-64. Hazzard, who died in November 2011, served as UCLA\u2019s head coach for four seasons \u2014 from 1984-85 through 1987-88. Hazzard becomes the second former UCLA standout in the past three years to earn induction into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, located in Kansas City, Missouri.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Hall of Fame class will be formally enshrined during the National College Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Celebration presented by UMB Private Wealth Management on Oct. 22, at the College Basketball Experience in Kansas City.
