Police have seized a car while continuing their hunt for a driver who left a man to die in a Brisbane south hit-and-run.<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old was struck by a vehicle on Middle Rd, Greenbank about 8.45pm on Monday.<\/p>\n
He suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.<\/p>\n
Investigators are trying to identify all those involved in the fatal crash after the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.<\/p>\n
Detectives have since seized a black Ford Falcon that had no registration plates.<\/p>\n
Detective Inspector Ian Galpin said when police arrived they spoke with friends of the 20-year-old who immediately went to his aid, but he died shortly afterwards.<\/p>\n
\u201cPolice would like to speak with the driver of a white Toyota LandCruiser and a dark-coloured utility, both of which were seen in the vicinity at the time of the accident,\u201d Inspector Galpin said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI express our sympathies to the family and friends of the young man that passed away last night, it is a devastating incident particularly for those who witnessed the accident and for the broader Greenbank community.\u201d<\/p>\n
