Gold Coast<\/a> duo Mac Andrew and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan insist they were doing nothing untoward before being spotted walking out of a disabled toilet together during last Wednesday\u2019s State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium. <\/p>\n

Gold Coast are backing in their high-profile duo after completing an investigation into a viral video that has circulated online since last week.<\/p>\n

In a statement provided to 7NEWS, a club spokesperson said: \u201cThe Gold Coast Suns are aware of vision circulating online involving two of its players.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhilst there is no indication of any wrongdoing by either player in the vision, the club has spoken with both players who deny any insinuation of misconduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ugle-Hagan did not play at any level for the Suns last weekend \u2014 but the Suns insist he was being managed \u2014 while Andrew collected 15 disposals and six marks in the Suns\u2019 79-point AFL loss to Adelaide. <\/p>\n

Gold Coast were made aware of the vision early Tuesday morning as it was spread across the internet and in group chats, before launching an investigation early this afternoon.<\/p>\n

7NEWS is not suggesting any wrongdoing by either player, only that the club investigated the matter.<\/p>\n

Andrew has enjoyed a breakout season in Gold Coast\u2019s defence, one of the Suns most consistent performers in a difficult year. He is contracted until at least 2030 on a lucrative deal. <\/p>\n

Ugle-Hagan has played three AFL games and a host of VFL matches this year after missing all of last season at the Western Bulldogs due to personal issues. <\/p>\n

He\u2019s currently negotiating a contract extension at the club, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.<\/p>\n
