Journalist Andrew Webster has described Manly as a club in \u201cabsolute turmoil\u201d amid claims top Sea Eagles players \u201chave issues\u201d with coach Anthony Seibold.<\/p>\n
Manly has struggled on the field in recent times, slumping to four straight defeats with their season now on life support given they\u2019re two wins outside the top eight with just three rounds remaining.<\/p>\n
Skipper Daly Cherry-Evans announced in March he would depart the club at the end of the season, which has created an ongoing distraction for the playing group.<\/p>\n

Limited-time offer ><\/a><\/p>\n Cherry-Evans is expected to announce at the end of the season that he will join the Roosters for 2026 on a one-year deal, with doubts now cast over whether the club will even want him given his recent struggles for form.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if you guys have heard any of the stuff I have about what\u2019s going on at Manly, but even if a fraction of it is right, it\u2019s a club in absolute turmoil,\u201d Webster said on NRL360 on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a club that\u2019s not happy. There\u2019s division between obviously (Daly) Cherry-Evans and (CEO) Tony Mestrov since the start of the year despite all the platitudes that have been said in the last few months.<\/p>\n \u201cI think senior players \u2013 if you listen to any of what you hear on the grapevine, so many of those senior players have issues with Anthony Seibold.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s just a fact.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve all heard it.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom what I\u2019m told, management are more than aware of the players that are saying it and are openly saying it \u2013 and nothing\u2019s happening with it.<\/p>\n \u201cMeanwhile, there\u2019s fingers being pointed in the background towards saying one player\u2019s management is responsible for this and that, when it\u2019s not right.
