{"id":800753,"date":"2026-07-15T00:21:14","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T00:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/800753\/"},"modified":"2026-07-15T00:21:14","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T00:21:14","slug":"supercars-premiair-racings-roland-dane-reacts-to-declan-fraser-form","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/800753\/","title":{"rendered":"Supercars: PremiAir Racing&#8217;s Roland Dane reacts to Declan Fraser form"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ROLAND Dane is not mincing his words with regards to the need for more from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2633-Declan-Fraser\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Declan Fraser<\/a> and the #777 side of the PremiAir Racing garage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fraser is known to be under pressure, with the team yet to commit to retaining him for 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qualifying has been his chief shortcoming, although there was definite progress in that realm across Darwin and into the opening race of the Townsville 500.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fraser qualified a career-best 11th for the Friday sprint in north Queensland, only to wind up on the back row of the grid for the Saturday and Sunday races.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He left the weekend with a trio of 21st place finishes, compared to teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1544-Jayden-Ojeda\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jayden Ojeda<\/a>\u2019s ninth, 11th and 10th.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/MH7_Fraser_4863-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-259673\"  \/>Declan Fraser. There\u2019s still a bit of work to do to take the next step forward,\u201d said PremiAir team principal Roland Dane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith the #777 car, we\u2019ve got plenty to do.
