Hempstead, NY – Five members of the 2025-26 Hofstra men’s basketball team – Trey Boyd III<\/a>, Cruz Davis<\/a>, Brandon Morgan<\/a>, German Plotnikov<\/a>, and Alex Tsynkevich<\/a> – were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2025-26 Honors Court, recognizing those men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.<\/p>\n In addition, the program earned the Team Academic Excellence Award for the third consecutive year.\u00a0<\/p>\n The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men’s basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.\u00a0<\/p>\n The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
