Tszyu v Spence Jr. | Sunday July 26 from 11am AEST | Tim Tszyu takes on the biggest name in his career so far – future hall-of-famer Errol Spence Jr, in a can\u2019t miss event for boxing fans around the world. | Order Now with Main Event on Kayo Sports.<\/a><\/p>\n Tszyu never forgot it.<\/p>\n Now, almost four years later, Tszyu finally gets the chance to get his hands on The Big Fish when he faces the American superstar on July 26 in Sydney.<\/p>\n Speaking this week, the former world champ admitted Spence\u2019s comments had stayed with him ever since.<\/p>\n \u201cEver since he started talking smack on Twitter and saying Harrison was going to beat me and bagging me out and calling me trash,\u201d Tszyu told Shaun Porter on The PorterWay Podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI was like, \u2018You know what? I really want to get this guy.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not the guy that talks bad about people \u2013 it\u2019s not me. But I\u2019ve always had this thing against Errol.\u201d<\/p>\n At the time, Tszyu was still unbeaten and on his way up, while Spence sat atop the sport as one of boxing\u2019s pound-for-pound kings.<\/p>\n While Spence publicly wrote the Sydneysider off, Tszyu answered with his fists, stopping Harrison with a 9th round TKO.<\/p>\n Asked what his mindset towards Spence is right now, Tszyu was blunt.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to hurt him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cDo damage.\u201d<\/p>\n Tim Tszyu and Errol SpenceSource: FOX SPORTS<\/p>\n Since then, however, plenty has changed. <\/p>\n The American superstar was brutalised by Terence Crawford before disappearing from the ring for three years. <\/p>\n Yet despite the inactivity and questions about what version of \u2018The Truth\u2019 will show up in Sydney this week, Tszyu says he isn\u2019t expecting damaged goods.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m expecting the Errol Spence that was fighting Kell Brook back in the day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cBut we will see.<\/p>\n \u201cThese are questions for him to answer.\u201d<\/p>\n Porter later described Spence\u2019s trademark southpaw pressure as being \u201clike a train\u201d that simply keeps rolling forward.<\/p>\n Asked about that style, Tszyu pointed to one weapon as potentially giving him the most grief.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s very monotone, but he\u2019s very good at that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt drowns you. <\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s got a very stiff jab and the jab is consistent. I think that\u2019s going to be the hardest part.<\/p>\n \u201cBut this fight is going to be a relentless style from me \u2013 I\u2019m going to bring the heat and see if he can match it.\u201d<\/p>\n Asked if there was any temptation to try and box the American, Tszyu simply grinned and shook his head. <\/p>\n \u201cWe are going straight in,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like stylistically this is the fight that everyone wants to see. This is a fan-friendly type of fight.
