Zendaya<\/a> and Tom Holland<\/a> are the golden standard when it comes to Hollywood<\/a> relationships, but there\u2019s one matter that could\u2019ve ended their romance<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Holland, 30, sat down with his on-screen parents Matt Damon<\/a>, Anne Hathaway<\/a> and director Christopher Nolan to discuss The Odyssey<\/a>, a film his wife Zendaya also stars in. He said she joked she would leave him if he didn\u2019t accept the major role. <\/p>\n

Speaking to People<\/a> about his role as Telemachus in the movie<\/a>, Holland quipped he \u201cdid a lot of thinking\u201d when Nolan, 55, first asked him to be part of the blockbuster of the year. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, when I got home after our meeting, I sat down with Z and was like, \u2019I\u2019ve been offered this movie,\u201d Holland began. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she was like, \u2018By who?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018It\u2019s the big one.\u2019 And she was like, \u2018Chris?\u2019 I was like, \u2018Yeah, it\u2019s Chris Nolan.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then we had\u00a0Spider-Man<\/a>\u00a0that was literally scheduled to go the same day that we would start shooting,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n

\u201cZ said, \u2018I\u2019ll leave you if you don\u2019t do\u00a0The Odyssey.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cYes. Well, thank you to her,\u201d Nolan laughed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere I am,\u201d Holland added.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a mammoth month for Holland and Zendaya with both of them co-starring in The Odyssey and Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. <\/p>\n

Both films have scheduled July releases and so it\u2019s been a long month of global press tours for both projects. <\/p>\n

\"Lupita<\/p>\n

Holland and Zendaya are just two names of the star-studded cast of Odyssey including Lupita Nyongo\u2019o, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and Charlize Theron.\u00a0Pierre Mouton<\/p>\n

Holland revealed in a June interview with GQ that before he could sign on to The Odyssey, he had to ask Sony Pictures executive Tom Rotham \u2013 Sony Pictures produces Spider-Man \u2013 to push back production so he could make both movies.<\/p>\n

The A-list couple have been notoriously private when it comes to confirming details of their relationship. Holland only briefly confirmed their marriage<\/a> in June after 18 months of rumours. <\/p>\n

Zendaya and Holland met 10 years ago and have been together for five.\u00a0Gareth Cattermole<\/p>\n

They originally met during the 2016 auditions and filming for Spider-Man: Homecoming and went public with their romance in 2021. <\/p>\n
