Albeit Joshua, a former Olympic gold medalist and two-time champion of the world, was not the fighter he once was, the 36-year-old was expected to deal with Paul handily \u2013 and that\u2019s exactly what happened. <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Joshua dropped Paul several times before smashing a right hand across the YouTuber-turned-boxer\u2019s face in round six to put an end to proceedings. Paul suffered two breaks to his jaw from the finishing shot and has not been back in the ring since. <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Paul, who has since had two surgeries to mend his jaw, has spoken of a return to the sport, but when appearing on The Pat McAfee Show he revealed he wouldn\u2019t be stepping in the ring with a heavyweight the level of Joshua again.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt heals back stronger,\u201d Paul said of his jaw. \u201cI probably won\u2019t fight Olympic gold medallist heavyweights anymore. That\u2019s smart right. I learned my lesson.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cBut if the paycheck is big enough I\u2019ll fight anybody,\u201d Paul joked. \u201cI\u2019ll break it again.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jake Paul learned a lesson the night he fought Anthony Joshua back in December.
