{"id":803529,"date":"2026-07-16T08:10:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-16T08:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/803529\/"},"modified":"2026-07-16T08:10:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T08:10:10","slug":"foxtel-price-hike-tv-tonight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/803529\/","title":{"rendered":"Foxtel price hike | TV Tonight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tFoxtel Plus and Platinum Plus customers have been advised of $5 a month increase from September.\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Foxtel is raising subscription prices, just a week after $5.3b deal, with Nine, for NRL rights.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afr.com\/companies\/media-and-marketing\/foxtel-hikes-cable-prices-days-after-bumper-nrl-deal-20260715-p60fmc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian Financial Review reports <\/a>Foxtel Plus and Platinum Plus customers have been advised of $5 a month increase from September.<\/p>\n<p>Foxtel Plus is currently $78 a month on a 12-month plan, while Platinum Plus is being offered at $99 a month.<\/p>\n<p>A Foxtel spokesperson said, \u201cLike all businesses, we regularly review our pricing to ensure it continues to reflect the long-term investment in our products and content and this change was as a result of a review held in the first quarter this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo continue bringing customers the world\u2019s best sports and entertainment, while delivering great value through a premium customer experience, we are changing the price of Foxtel for a small percentage of premium package set-top box customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe carefully consider any changes to pricing and continually invest to provide affordable access to 50 live sports and an incredible range of premium and fan-favourite TV shows, blockbuster movies and exclusive entertainment for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Foxtel last increased prices in March 2025 for Platinum and Platinum with Netflix packages and Platinum Plus and Foxtel Plus with Netflix in September 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Foxtel Plus and Platinum Plus customers have been advised of $5 a month increase from September.
