It was the inverse scenario to last year\u2019s prelim final win over Penrith when Reynolds took the kicking tee from a struggling Walsh to nail a sideline conversion and book Brisbane\u2019s ticket into the grand final.<\/p>\n
Reynolds, who was returning from injury against Penrith and looked a bit ginger at times in the second half, revealed he was suffering from cramps.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wasn\u2019t hitting them too well either so back to training to work on that part of the game,\u201d Reynolds said.<\/p>\n

For any other team, it\u2019d be considered an impossibility, but with this Broncos team now at full strength and Walsh in scintillating form, eight straight wins to end the season can\u2019t be ruled out. <\/p>\n
Maguire praised Walsh\u2019s performance and the efforts of his returning players, namely Pat Carrigan, who was back on deck after six weeks on the sideline.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve seen moments (from Walsh) like that for the last couple of months and when you get all you players out there that you know you have, then they all compliment each other. <\/p>\n
\u201cReece got on the back of what was going on in the front row \u2026 There\u2019s a lot of special efforts right throughout the team and then people like Reece can come up with a performance like that off the back of what we did.<\/p>\n
\u201dWe had some unbelievable sort of performances there, like Patty coming back. He hasn\u2019t played for about six weeks. Reyno hasn\u2019t played a whole heap and Ezra Mam hasn\u2019t either.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite the mounting pressure, Maguire has kept the faith all throughout the Broncos\u2019 eight-game losing streak. <\/p>\n

\u201dPeople talk about what\u2019s missing, but we\u2019ve actually missed quite a few of our players who are actually out there today. That\u2019s the simple truth,\u201d Maguire said.<\/p>\n
\u201dPeople have sort of said things around us, but what I see at training every day is what I saw in the performance there tonight. They work really hard for each other and they enjoy being around each other.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve seen the fight in most games that we played. There\u2019s been somet there we probably looked at and went, that\u2019s probably not to where we\u2019d expect… but when you put the quality of players that we put out there, well you can get a performance like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
