[&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5m\">Following last Saturday\u2019s UFC 329 card that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/fannation\/mma\/news\/conor-mcgregor-teases-huge-ufc-injury-status-update-alongside-bold-betting-request\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">closed out with an anticlimactic rematch between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway<\/a>, this weekend offers another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/fannation\/mma\/news\/ufc-signs-unbeaten-finishing-machines-late-notice-fight-ufc-oklahoma-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">loaded slate of combat sports action with events like UFC Oklahoma City<\/a>, ONE Fight Night 45, RIZIN Landmark 15, PFL Austin, and plenty more. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5p\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/fannation\/mma\/news\/mma-fighter-returns-two-year-layoff-flatten-opponent-must-see-ko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA) will also be in action on Friday<\/a> with ACA 205, which will see the top Russian MMA promotion make the trip to Almaty, Kazakhstan for a card featuring two title fights at the top of the bill. <\/p>\n<p>Mansur Khatuev Reportedly Drains Blood to Make Weight for ACA 205<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5v\">ACA 205 featured a total of 15 scheduled bouts as of the start of fight week, but weigh-in day for the event unfortunately saw several fighters experience issues on the scale. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5y\">Artem Reznikov vs. Zaur Gadzhiev and Bagdos Olzhabay vs. Shamil Basayaev look all set to go ahead after both Reznikov and Basayaev came in heavy, but the bigger news out of weigh-in day for ACA 205 is the extreme measures Mansur Khatuev allegedly took to make weight.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"65\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/VestnikMMA\/status\/2077651150413644064\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Vestnik MMA<\/a>, Khatuev shaved both his head and all of his body hair off, which is a drastic but not unheard-of method of making weight for fighters that are close to hitting the limit for their weight class.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"68\">In a significantly more extreme measure, Khatuev allegedly q:id=\"6h\">The matchup between Khatuev and Barsegyan shockingly looks like it\u2019s still set to go ahead, and MMA fans will be hoping that \u201cMalysh\u201d hasn\u2019t put himself in any extra danger with his unorthodox method of making weight. <\/p>\n<p>24-Fight MMA Veteran Moved Up to Bantamweight in January<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-13\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6n\">Boasting a 16-6 record in his professional MMA career, the vast majority of Khatuev\u2019s fights have come under the ACA banner. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-14\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6q\">A win <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/fannation\/mma\/news\/two-ufc-fighters-removed-official-roster-losses-ufc-mexico\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">over future UFC veteran Felipe Bunes in 2019<\/a> brought his record to a perfect 8-0 and earned Khatuev a flyweight title shot at ACA 104, where he dropped a decision to another unbeaten talent in Azamat Kerefov.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-16\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6x\">That loss kicked off a difficult 1-4 stretch for the Russian, but he\u2019s currently on a 7-2 run dating back to late 2022 and is coming off a split decision loss to Kairat Akhmetov in his bantamweight debut at ACA 198. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-18\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"74\">Khatuev\u2019s matchup with Barsegyan will take place as part of the prelim card for ACA 205, and
