Big man Charles Bassey<\/a> appeared in just five games for the Warriors at the end of the 2025\/26 regular season, but the club liked what it saw in those games from the 25-year-old, who averaged 10.7 points and 7.2 rebounds in 20.0 minutes per contest.<\/p>\n

Now that he\u2019s back<\/a> on a new one-year contract, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area<\/a> takes a look at what Bassey is capable of bringing to Golden State in 2026\/27. As Johnson outlines, although he projects to be the team\u2019s third-string center behind Al Horford<\/a> and Kristaps Porzingis<\/a>, Bassey has a different skill set than those veteran floor-spacers and could become an important insurance policy if Horford and\/or Porzingis have to miss time for health reasons.<\/p>\n
