<\/p>\nNetflix is coming to Queenstown.<\/p>\n
The streamer today announced that production is underway in the popular New Zealand tourist town on a new scripted, 8-episode series, simply titled Queenstown.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the first ANZ-commissioned Netflix series to be set and shot in New Zealand.<\/p>\n
An impressive cast has been recruited for the historic series, including Emmy nominee Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat, Scoop, The Father), Frances O\u2019Connor (Wednesday, The Missing), Alyce Debnam-Carey (Apple Cider Vinegar, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova), and Te Kohe Tuhaka (Chief of War, The Convert).<\/p>\n
Queenstown is created by writer and executive producer Chloe Stearns.\u00a0The series is courtesy of production companies Silent Firework and Runaway Unicorn.<\/p>\n
