Here goes\u2026<\/p>\n
Sydney Motorsport Park: Uncertain<\/p>\n
This is one of those cases where details are hard to come by.<\/p>\n
Supercars\u2019 presence at Sydney is connected to its Destination NSW deal, i.e. the state government\u2019s tourism arm.<\/p>\n
There is no reason to expect Supercars won\u2019t again place its season-opener under lights at SMP next year, but beyond that the Round 1 honours are forecast to shift<\/a> to the incoming Perth street circuit.<\/p>\n Destination NSW\u2019s priority is thought to more rest with driving visitation to the regions, which is why establishing a street circuit on the Central Coast<\/a> or in Wollongong<\/a> appears attractive.<\/p>\n MORE: Skaife backs Central Coast race to spark Sprint Cup<\/a><\/p>\n That is years away at best, though, and wouldn\u2019t necessarily need to be instead of SMP.<\/p>\n Albert Park: 2029<\/p>\n Supercars\u2019 mid-term future as part of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix spectacle was secured in March<\/a>.<\/p>\n The extended arrangement between Supercars and the Australian Grand Prix Corporation runs through 2029.<\/p>\n For what it\u2019s worth, F1\u2019s place at Albert Park is guaranteed for the next 11 years (up to 2037, inclusive).<\/p>\n Taup\u014d: 2028<\/p>\n In announcing its inaugural New Zealand doubleheader<\/a>, Supercars simultaneously tacked two years onto the initial contract which had crowned Taup\u014d the successor to Pukekohe on the North Island.<\/p>\n Ruapuna: 2028<\/p>\n In line with the above, Supercars also introduced Christchurch on a three-year burst to kickstart the South Island\u2019s position on the championship calendar.<\/p>\n It\u2019s worth noting however that competition is waiting to swoop, Highlands having openly flagged \u2018Project 29\u2019 as its bid to seize the Supercars South Island slot once Ruapuna\u2019s contract is up.<\/p>\n Symmons Plains: 2027<\/p>\n Supercars and the Tasmanian government have a deal in place which covers next year<\/a>.<\/p>\n Symmons Plains is in line to take over from Wanneroo Raceway as the venue with most championship races once the latter almost certainly drops off.<\/p>\n Hidden Valley: 2030<\/p>\n It was way back in 2016 that the Northern Territory government locked in the Darwin Triple Crown\u2019s future through 2030.<\/p>\n The investment keeps coming, with the event\u2019s first dose of night racing to come next year<\/a>.<\/p>\n Townsville: 2027<\/p>\n The Queensland government announced in 2024 an extension of its support of both the Townsville and Gold Coast events until the end of 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n Clearly, Townsville is not going anywhere, based on the multi-million-dollar investment into resurfacing works which are about to start<\/a>, with the intention of preserving the track\u2019s future and preventing the need for more drastic fixes down the road.<\/p>\n Perth: It\u2019s complicated<\/p>\n It\u2019s complicated because of the holding pattern involving the inevitable transition from Wanneroo Raceway to a new in-town street circuit<\/a>.<\/p>\n The last public announcement of a fresh agreement with Tourism WA was made in 2023, expiring last year, yet Wanneroo is a fortnight away from hosting its next Supercars event.<\/p>\n It\u2019s fully expected that Wanneroo will stay on the calendar next year too, and Western Australia is obviously committed to Supercars given the motorsport component of the $217.5 Perth Park precinct that\u2019s underway.<\/p>\n Queensland Raceway: 2026<\/p>\n V8 Sleuth understands Ipswich\u2019s presence is year-to-year, with no guarantees of a continued renaissance having returned to the calendar in 2025.<\/p>\n For all the exceptional work that Tony Quinn has done, that leaves QR most vulnerable if Supercars was to cut an existing venue.<\/p>\n The Bend: 2028<\/p>\n Having finally got its wish for an enduro, The Bend was confirmed as the Bathurst curtain-raiser until at least 2028<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mount Panorama: 2028? Forever?<\/p>\n Again, this is a Destination NSW matter, but obviously Bathurst and Supercars will go hand-in-hand presumably forever.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve listed 2028 because that\u2019s when Repco\u2019s naming rights sponsorship of the Great Race runs until.<\/p>\n Note that Bathurst Regional Council has showed increasing urgency towards the need to resurface the 6.213km layout.<\/p>\n Gold Coast: 2027<\/p>\n As per the Townsville segment, the current deal contains this year and next year for Gold Coast.<\/p>\n Sandown: 2027?<\/p>\n Penrite was last year named as the title sponsor of the Sandown 500 through at least 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no other public information regarding Supercars\u2019 Sandown status, but the Victorian venue does appear to be far safer than it once looked.<\/p>\n Adelaide: 2034<\/p>\n The most contractually safe of all, ironically, is an event that was only brought back from the dead four years ago.<\/p>\n Adelaide is locked in to host the Supercars grand final until 2034<\/a>.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Auld_Warburton_MH6_8619-1024x576.jpg\")
