Anthony Davis discussed the possibility of LeBron James joining him on the Washington Wizards in free agency.<\/p>\n

“Maybe,” Davis said Friday at Fanatics Fest. “We had some conversations.”<\/p>\n

James and Davis were previously teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers from 2019-25, winning a championship together in 2020.<\/p>\n

The Wizards aren’t among the favorites to add James, as ESPN’s\u00a0Shams Charania<\/a>\u00a0reported\u00a0Thursday that the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers were perceived to be in a group by themselves as they pursue the 22-time All-Star.<\/p>\n

It’s worth noting that the Warriors are planning to sign James and trade for Davis, per Charania (h\/t ESPN’s Anthony Slater<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Wizards general manager Will Dawkins reportedly<\/a> isn’t interested in trading Davis, though.<\/p>\n
