LAS VEGAS \u2014 The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Houston Rockets, 101-90<\/a>, in the 2026 NBA Summer League<\/a> semifinal at Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies were led by Cedric Coward<\/a>, who finished with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists.<\/p>\n

Memphis will play the winner of the Warriors-Lakers matchup in the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League<\/a> Championship.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies led 24-9 after the first quarter and got their lead up to as much as 22 points. They led by at least seven points for the final three quarters.<\/p>\n

Memphis shot 94% (17-for-18) from the free-throw line while the Rockets shot just 60% (6-for-10). Memphis outrebounded Houston, 47-35, and got 20 second chance points to just 10 for Houston.<\/p>\n

Javon Small had 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Memphis. No. 3 overall pick Cameron Boozer<\/a> provided 12 points, 12 rebounds and five assists while Jahmai Mashack led the bench with 15 points.<\/p>\n

The Rockets were led by Quadir Copeland<\/a>, collecting 24 points while Iasiah Crawford compiled 12 points and eight rebounds.<\/p>\n
