The Super Bowl next year is Feb. 14th, 2027. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/brian-schottenheimer-the-super-bowl-is-feb-14-and-we-plan-on-being-there\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">We plan on being there<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dak Prescott said Friday that\u2019s the goal every year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the one thing I love about the Cowboys Nation and being a player of the Cowboys is, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dallascowboys.com\/news\/dak-prescott-every-season-with-cowboys-is-super-bowl-or-bust\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">it\u2019s Super Bowl or bust<\/a>,\u201d Prescott said Friday while speaking to fans during a virtual meet and greet, via Tommy Yarrish of the team website. \u201cAnd truthfully, that\u2019s the only reason you play this game. And so if that\u2019s not your mindset, if that\u2019s not your mindset as a fan, then to me, you don\u2019t have the right passion. You\u2019re not a true winner. So absolutely, we\u2019re working every day for it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether it be competing away from the game or even in the game when we\u2019re competing, that\u2019s why we have players like Caleb [Downs], changed our defensive coordinator, that scheme, and super excited about what we\u2019re going to offer you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If it sounds as if Prescott was putting blame on the defense, well, it was deserved.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Eberflus was fired as defensive coordinator after only one season.
