{"id":810020,"date":"2026-07-19T10:51:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-19T10:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/810020\/"},"modified":"2026-07-19T10:51:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-19T10:51:09","slug":"tigers-consider-options-british-speedway-official-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/810020\/","title":{"rendered":"TIGERS CONSIDER OPTIONS \u2013 British Speedway Official Website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SHEFFIELD bosses say they are actively exploring their options to try and help resolve their current issues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tigers were dealt a massive blow last month when No.1 Jack Holder suffered a broken arm, amongst other injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the Aussie ace has been on the sidelines, the Owlerton outfit have lost two of their three fixtures \u2013 and also managed to let the aggregate point slip at Ipswich on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-owner Damien Bates said: \u201cJack is making steady progress \u2013 but he\u2019s not going to be fully fit for a while and we\u2019re now in a critical part of our season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve had people come up to me and say \u2018you just need to sign another No.1\u2019 \u2013 if only it was that easy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMyself and Steady (Simon Stead \u2013 team manager) have had conversations with riders of a similar level to Jack to try and gauge an idea of what we could do, but the reality is it\u2019s virtually impossible to replace a rider like Jack Holder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere\u2019s a couple more names we\u2019re going to speak to in the coming days, but if nothing comes of those then we\u2019ll have to fast start exploring Plan B.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SHEFFIELD bosses say they are actively exploring their options to try and help resolve their current issues.
