A prominent Aussie fitness influencer has been labelled \u201cdelusional\u201d after listing a used designer couch on Facebook Marketplace for a staggering price. <\/p>\n
The backlash started after Aussie creator and mum-of-three Sarah Stevenson, who goes by <\/p>\n
Sarah\u2019s Day online, put her three-seater pink designer couch up for sale for an eye-watering $6,000.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The piece of furniture, a Jardan Wilfred lounge, was initially purchased by the 33-year-old about six years ago for $11,000, she said. <\/p>\n
Yet eagle-eyed shoppers were quick to spot that the couch was not only ridiculously expensive, but not in great condition.<\/p>\n
In a video uploaded to social media in mid-May, Day, who boasts over a million followers on Instagram, admitted just how stained the lounge had become over the years.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe got a few stains on it [because] the boys were eating on there,\u201d she shared with her followers.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just lost all care, so I let them eat on the couch.\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to say she got the couch \u201cprofessionally cleaned\u201d, but added that the vibrant fabric \u201ccame out grey\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s supposed to be this beautiful, vibrant pink and now it has this grey hue,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
However, she quickly defended her family\u2019s hygiene to her viewers.<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t think we\u2019re gross. We are not grubby people,\u201d she insisted.<\/p>\n
Despite the professional clean, followers were stunned by the asking price, noting the recent Facebook listing appeared to omit any mention of the previous stains.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou best believe if I have $6K for a new couch I will be purchasing something brand new,\u201d one person wrote online.<\/p>\n
Another shocked user described the piece of furniture as completely \u201cran through\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWow it\u2019s actually so ugly,\u201d a third person wrote, while others remarked on how uncomfortable it looked.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo one is paying $6k for that,\u201d another exclaimed.<\/p>\n
One critic even joked: \u201cI wouldn\u2019t even ask, \u2018is this available?\u2019 if it was listed for free.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fitness influencer shares her children \u2014 Fox, seven, Malakai, four, and Harlow, one \u2014 with her husband Kurt Tilse.<\/p>\n
The couple welcomed their third child late last year, with Day sharing intimate photos of her at-home labour on Instagram.<\/p>\n
