\"Salman Salman Khan<\/a>‘s ex-girlfriend and former actor-model Somy Ali<\/a> took to Instagram to respond to backlash she has been receiving for supporting Faissal Khan<\/a> over his family feud<\/a> with his brother Aamir Khan<\/a>. She clarified that extending help to someone in difficult times does not equate to hypocrisy, even if that person may have spoken ill of her in the past.\u201cI have been getting a lot of heat for supporting Faissal. I want you all to know that just because someone speaks ill of you, it doesn\u2019t mean you drop the ball on them during their hard times. There is no hypocrisy here,\u201d she wrote in a long note.On her standSomy further explained that what Faissal had previously said about her was \u201cnone of her business,\u201d but how she reacts to his struggles is her own decision. \u201cI will support and stand by him or anyone else who is going through rough times,\u201d she added.Clarifying her equation with Aamir<\/a> Khan, Somy mentioned that she doesn\u2019t know him well enough to comment. \u201cWe did one photoshoot and we were both very professional. I used to give schizophrenia medication to patients during my internship. That has dire consequences if a person is not suffering from schizophrenia. That doesn\u2019t sit well with my ethics or my moral compass.\u201d\u2018None of us are perfect\u2019Ending her note, Somy shut down those accusing her of hypocrisy, stressing that her upbringing compels her to stand by people in distress. \u201cAs long as no one has physically harmed me and they are in trouble, and I know they are in the right I will speak up for them.
