The more budget-focused \u201cFan Edition\u201d Samsung models are returning, as Samsung gets a third version of the Buds3 out.<\/p>\n

More truly wireless earphone options<\/a> are on the way it seems just in case you needed yet more to consider. Right now, it seems like every company has a pair, and some have several more, with Samsung opting to add a new pair, likely in time for a busy season.<\/p>\n

While we\u2019re not expecting new phones from Samsung for the rest of the year \u2014 it just launched new foldables including the Galaxy Fold 7<\/a> \u2014 new earphones are on the way as last year\u2019s Galaxy Buds 3 gets one extra model made to be a little more economical.<\/p>\n

The latest entrant in the \u201cFE\u201d range is the Galaxy Buds3 FE, a pair of earbuds that adopts the same design language complete with an angular stem, but opts for the ear-tips used on the Buds3 Pro.<\/p>\n

Like last year\u2019s Buds 3, they\u2019ll get support for active noise cancellation, improving on what was in the Galaxy Buds FE before them. That doesn\u2019t necessarily mean they\u2019ll compete with the current Buds3 Pro, but based on our experience with the Buds3<\/a>, they\u2019d have to be better.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll go beyond simply playing music and podcasts from your phone, supporting Samsung\u2019s approach to AI with \u201cHey Google\u201d on Android devices, able to translate conversations or check your email in a screen-free way.<\/p>\n

And like the Apple AirPods they\u2019re clearly competing with<\/a>, they\u2019ll come in monochromatic colours, but go the other direction. While the AirPods are all white, the Galaxy Buds3 FE are black and grey.<\/p>\n
