British social media personality Yung Filly violently and repeatedly sexually assaulted a young fan in a hotel room during his tour of Australia, a court has heard.<\/p>\n

The alleged victim, who cannot be identified, had a “celebrity crush” on the YouTuber and rapper, the court heard, and had consensual sex with him in his Perth hotel after a nightclub performance in September 2024.<\/p>\n

But the encounter soon became “non-consensual”, and she found herself being physically assaulted, the court was told.<\/p>\n

Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, 30, is on trial in the District Court, accused of sexually assaulting the 20-year-old woman.<\/p>\n

Prosecutor Danielle Clarke said the woman was looking forward to seeing his performance at Bar1 at Hillarys Boat Harbour, with her cousin.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor said she had recorded a video saying she “loved Yung Filly and wanted him to be her future husband”.<\/p>\n

The woman wore her “lucky” white top but, the prosecutor said it “turned out to be anything but lucky” for the alleged victim.<\/p>\n

‘You’re coming home with me’<\/p>\n

The woman was allowed into the club’s VIP lounge, where free drinks were available, and she was approached by Mr Barrientos, who seemed interested in her.<\/p>\n

Ms Clarke said the rapper told her “you’re coming home with me tonight”, with the woman believing she was going to a party, but they went to the Intercontinental Hotel on Hay Street.<\/p>\n

Mr Barrientos’s bodyguard took her phone.<\/p>\n

Inside the hotel room, the woman had consensual sex with him. But the prosecutor said the rapper became more aggressive, biting her neck, right cheek and breast.<\/p>\n

The alleged victim had told him to stop, but he continued, the court heard.<\/p>\n

British YouTube content creator Yung Filly, who’s facing trial in Perth on sex assault charges, is granted permission to travel home.<\/p>\n

Ms Clarke told the jury he held his hand tightly around her neck for a few seconds and slapped her, telling her to say derogatory things.<\/p>\n

The woman refused, the court was told, and started to cry.<\/p>\n

The court heard Mr Barrientos then allegedly anally raped her.<\/p>\n

After the alleged rape, she was given back her phone and overheard Mr Barrientos saying to his bodyguard that she “wasn’t good in bed”.<\/p>\n

The court heard the alleged victim took photos of her injuries and reported it to police the next day.<\/p>\n

Court told bite broke skin<\/p>\n

The alleged victim, who is now 21, told the court via videolink from another room that Yung Filly was her “idol” at the time, when she didn’t know his real name.<\/p>\n

She described how she saw him on the night, smiling with “vampire-looking teeth” and handing out free tequila shots in the VIP area.<\/p>\n

The woman told the court she had “four or six shots” during the night but “knew what I was doing”.<\/p>\n

She said that while they were still at the venue, Mr Barrientos put his hands down her pants, and she told him “I’m not like that”.<\/p>\n

“It really shows your age” was the rapper’s response, she said.<\/p>\n

The woman said they had consensual sex at the hotel but he started “throwing me around” before biting her and putting a hand around her neck.<\/p>\n

She described the biting as “very, very hard” and she told him he was hurting her.<\/p>\n

She told the court a bite on her breast broke the skin and she later had to get a tetanus shot in hospital.<\/p>\n

Mr Barrientos is charged with six counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault causing bodily harm and one count of impeding someone’s normal breathing.<\/p>\n

Defence lawyer David Edwardson did not give an opening statement.<\/p>\n

Large following<\/p>\n

Yung Filly’s social media channels boast millions of followers while his videos have amassed more than 100 million views.<\/p>\n

He has also found success in music, charting two top 40 singles in the UK, including one that was certified silver for selling more than 200,000 units.<\/p>\n
