Only 11 days out from next Saturday\u2019s Sydney blockbuster, Spence successfully requested the bout be increased from a 158-pound catchweight <\/a>to the middleweight limit of 160 pounds.<\/p>\n While both camps have since played down the change publicly, the move has sparked plenty of chatter in boxing circles, with several top analysts believing all isn\u2019t quite right inside Spence\u2019s camp. <\/p>\n Among the most outspoken has been former world champ and respected DAZN analyst Sergio Mora.<\/p>\n Mora, who has previously warned Spence will face a \u201cMount Everest of problems\u201d against Tszyu, believes the late weight change is simply another red flag. <\/p>\n \u201cI think the writing\u2019s on the wall,\u201d Mora said on Boxing with Mannix and Mora.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s going to end bad for Errol Spence, and I think I\u2019ve been saying that and been consistent on this since we first started talking about this matchup.\u201d<\/p>\n Mora argued \u2018The Truth\u2019 is treating the showdown as one final payday before retirement.<\/p>\n \u201cErrol Spence is damaged goods, and this is the last payday for him…\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe reason he\u2019s fighting in this old weight class is because this is a send-off goodbye payday fight for him. <\/p>\n \u201cHe doesn\u2019t care about being disciplined. He doesn\u2019t care about the responsibilities of a fighter and a champion. He doesn\u2019t care about the promotion. He doesn\u2019t care about the judges. He doesn\u2019t care about flying to Australia to face an Australian fighter because he knows this is his last fight. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a goodbye send-off and a check \u2013 and that\u2019s the reason he doesn\u2019t care about the weight because he doesn\u2019t care about his reputation…<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s got one foot out the door. He\u2019s retired right now. I just think he\u2019s collecting one more check to buy another farm or ranch in Texas, and then say goodbye to the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n Errol Spence and Tim TszyuSource: FOX SPORTS<\/p>\n Sitting alongside Mora, veteran boxing journalist Chris Mannix agreed.<\/p>\n \u201cI thought even before all this that it was a long shot that Errol Spence was going to be able to do anything,\u201d said Mannix.<\/p>\n \u201cNow, even though it\u2019s just two pounds, I think if you can\u2019t make 158, which is 11 pounds heavier than what you\u2019ve been fighting at your entire career\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cIf you have to ask to have this fight changed to 160… that is a very bad sign for Errol Spence, and I\u2019m afraid that we\u2019re going to get to the point where Tim Tszyu is just hunting him down in the ring.\u201d<\/p>\n Mora and Mannix are not alone.<\/p>\n Respected trainer, and former world champ, Robert Garcia has also admitted the signs coming out of Spence\u2019s camp left him asking plenty of questions.<\/p>\n While Garcia said he\u2019d love to see Spence return to something resembling his best, he questioned whether the American can realistically be the same fighter after three years out of the ring. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve said it when the fight was made. \u2018Did he take this fight because he knows he might not have much left?\u2019\u201d Garcia told Boxing Scene Today.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cNow that he\u2019s not being able to make weight and has to push it to one to 160, a few pounds higher, that kind of tells me that that\u2019s a problem. <\/p>\n \u201cThat looks like it\u2019s going to be the problem. You know he didn\u2019t do camp the way he\u2019s supposed to. Maybe he couldn\u2019t because his health is just or his body is just not responding anymore. <\/p>\n \u201cIt just just tells me that he had that problem and that he chose to fight Tim Tszyu because of that situation.
