LeBron James reportedly won’t be making a decision regarding his next team on Tuesday. <\/p>\n
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin<\/a>, James still wasn’t ready to choose his team for the 2026-27 season on Tuesday and there isn’t an “elaborate rollout plan” for his eventual announcement.<\/p>\n “I’ve checked in with two people, one person from two different teams that are still in active pursuit and those two people both brought up the fact that, ‘Hey, we have some family vacations planned here,'” McMenamin reported during an appearance<\/a> on SportsCenter. “Now that doesn’t mean because they have family vacations they’re going to give up the pursuit, but there is a certain impracticality of this weight that is going to only get louder and louder if it keeps going and going.”<\/p>\n McMenamin\u00a0previously reported<\/a>\u00a0that the Golden State Warriors,\u00a0Cleveland Cavaliers,\u00a0Philadelphia 76ers\u00a0and\u00a0Miami Heat\u00a0are among the teams that have continued to pursue James in free agency.<\/p>\n The NBA’s all-time leading scorer is set to experience a change of scenery after he\u00a0informed<\/a>\u00a0the Los Angeles Lakers that he would be playing elsewhere during his 2026-27 campaign.<\/p>\n Still, James remains available after free agency started on June 30.<\/p>\n On Friday, McMenamin\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0that the four-time MVP’s decision could potentially come “in the early part of next week.”<\/p>\n
