The 2026 Tour de France<\/a> classifications will shift across three weeks of racing, from the Grand D\u00e9part in Barcelona on 4 July to the final stage in Paris on 26 July. Across time trials, sprint stages, breakaway opportunities, and the high mountains, each day can alter the shape of the race for the yellow and the Tour\u2019s other major jerseys. Here we look at the race’s classifications and update them on a daily – including the fight for the yellow jersey.This live classifications hub is updated after each stage of the 2026 Tour de France<\/a> with the latest General Classification, Points Classification, Mountains Classification and Best Young Rider standings. As the race develops, it tracks the key movements in the fight for the yellow jersey, green jersey, polka-dot jersey, and white jersey.<\/p>\n

The General Classification remains the central battle of the Tour, but the wider standings often tell their own stories as the race moves through different terrain. Sprint stages can reshape the points competition, mountain days can transform the polka-dot jersey fight, and the white jersey battle can change quickly when young contenders are tested across repeated days of pressure.<\/p>\n

With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points, and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.<\/p>\n

General Classification Standings after Stage 16Tadej Pogacar<\/a> remains firmly in yellow, but Remco Evenepoel has reduced the gap from five minutes to 4:32 after winning the time trial.<\/p>\n

Isaac del Toro stays third at 6:51, just 20 seconds ahead of Paul Seixas. Florian Lipowitz\u2019s abandonment moves Juan Ayuso into fifth and Mattias Skjelmose into sixth, while Ilan Van Wilder climbs to 11th after passing Richard Carapaz.<\/p>\n

Mads Pedersen retains the green jersey with 417 points, leading Jasper Philipsen by 31 and Biniam Girmay by 56.<\/p>\n

The time trial reshuffled the lower top 10. Tadej Pogacar moves above S\u00f8ren W\u00e6renskjold into sixth, while stage winner Remco Evenepoel climbs ahead of Isaac del Toro into ninth.<\/p>\n
