What the coach said

“It’s always a privilege to represent your country in any event, but to do so at the Commonwealth Games is such an honour.

“The Comm Games is a flagship event that attracts so much interest in players on every level around the country. Our preparation has already started with identifying those players who are not only extremely talented, but also embody the values and attributes needed to represent the green and gold.” – coach Adam Forde.

What the stars said

“They’re (Antonio, Bairstow, McDaniel) debutants at the Commonwealth Games, but two of them (Antonio and Bairstow) just came off a World Cup and they’re all quite experienced at 3×3.

“So if anything, I’m the rookie coming in – I haven’t played 3×3 for a while, so I will be relying on them as well.” – veteran Jesse Wagstaff.

>> Wagstaff ready for another shot at Games glory

Recent success

Both the men’s and women’s squads enter the tournament after winning gold at the 2025 FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup in Singapore.
