The tennis world\u2019s golden couple, Australia\u2019s Alex de Minaur and the UK\u2019s Katie Boulter, have tied the knot!<\/p>\n

The couple first got together in 2020 and announced their engagement four years later in December 2024. Find out more about their relationship here.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve not been a massive dreamer about my wedding,\u201d Katie said to The Telegraph ahead of the Australian Open<\/a>. \u201cAs long as my family are there, I\u2019ll be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI did sort of dream about a destination wedding,\u201d she added. \u201cHaving a place you can go back to that\u2019s your place. So it\u2019s possible it\u2019ll be in the middle of nowhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, according to reports, the wedding took place in Katie\u2019s hometown of Leicestershire, which is a pretty far-away destination for Alex\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

That being said, Katie and Alex were both competing at this year\u2019s Wimbledon, so many of their family were probably already around.<\/p>\n

Where are the couple getting married?<\/p>\n

Alex de Minaur<\/a> has previously said that they won\u2019t marry in either Australia or in Katie\u2019s homeland, the UK, which ended up being the spot. <\/p>\n

Before the story was broken, fans speculated that the two would marry in Italy, as it\u2019s a frequent holiday destination for their families. Well it turns out they had two weddings!<\/p>\n

Following Wimbledon 2025, Katie posted a carousel of images to Instagram<\/a>, which appeared to be a wedding venue. With it\u2019s lavendar bushes, trailing vines, and terracotta roof, it\u2019s definitely giving Tuscan villa. Considering the day before, she posted a series of pictures of the two holidaying in Florence, Italy, that\u2019s our pick for their wedding location.<\/p>\n

Despite the destination location, Alex shared in an interview with Body+Soul<\/a> that it would be a simple affair.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to keep it quite close, quite private, and it\u2019s going to be a great time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a post-game interview<\/a> at the Australian Open 2026, Alex also reiterated the balance of their relationship and how Katie would be organising the day.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a 50-50 relationship, so honestly, the fact that we\u2019re both tennis players [means] we are both doing as much as we can together,\u201d he said. \u201cI have been making some of the decisions so far. But when it comes to the details like napkins and flowers, that\u2019s not my forte.\u201d<\/p>\n

When are Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur getting married?<\/p>\n

According to a report in Daily Mail, the couple married on the final day of Wimbledon 2026. This date raised some eyebrows, as if Alex had been successful at Wimbledon, he wouldn\u2019t have been able to attend his own wedding. The Australian number 1 ranked men\u2019s player looked thrilled as he walked out hand-in-hand with his wife, showered by rose petals. The English bride also looked stunning in a white silk off-shoulder dress and a bouquet of white roses and lilies. <\/p>\n
