Credit: Chad Peacock<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The nomination also places the project in contention for the People\u2019s Choice CODAaward, with public voting open now until July 30.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The artwork stretches over 7km underneath the newly elevated Armadale trail line, the Linewide Graphic Trail is the largest public artwork in the Southern Hemisphere.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The installation extends across six suburbs, transforming the rail infrastructure as one continuous piece of art complete with two basketball courts, two skate parks, eight abutments, seven sculptural elements and 120 concrete piers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The six suburbs include Carlisle, Oats Street (East Victoria Park), Welshpool, Queens Park, Cannington and Beckenham.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/199208abc9cccce05c8f38d3a66f341ec56e5db0.jpg\" alt=\"Oats street station.\" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\"\/>Camera IconOats street station.
