Colton Herta is to make his second FP1 outing with Cadillac at the Hungarian Grand Prix.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
The American made his F1 weekend debut by driving for the team in FP1 at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, taking over Sergio Perez’s car.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
On Friday at the Hungaroring, Herta is set to take over the MAC-26 of Valtteri Bottas for his second FP1 outing of the season as Cadillac looks to continue its recent strong momentum and try to score its first point in F1.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Both Bottas and Perez are still required to miss one more FP1 session each in the second-half of the season, with Herta likely to get both.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s very exciting to get another chance in FP1,” said Herta, who will also dovetail his F1 duties with his F2 campaign.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s a good opportunity for my personal experience, but the ultimate goal is, of course, to help the team with its development.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s been six weeks since I was last in the car, and there\u2019s been a lot of evolution in that time.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
