Toronto (46-55) sits six games out of a wild-card spot on the heels of a six-game losing streak heading into Wednesday night&#8217;s game against the Tampa Bay Rays.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old holds a 4-9 record, 4.51 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in what has been a down year for the typically reliable-right hander, who&#8217;s in the last season of a five-year, $110-million contract with the Blue Jays.<\/p>\n<p>He made at least 31 starts in each of his first four seasons of the deal, posting an ERA under 4.00 in each year.<\/p>\n<p>Three teams on Gausman&#8217;s no-trade list \u2014 the White Sox, Brewers and Pirates \u2014 held playoff spots entering action Wednesday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Kevin Gausman will have some say if he is dealt ahead of the Aug. 3 trade deadline.
