Love Island USA<\/a>\u2018s Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen have called it quits after one year of dating.<\/p>\n

Us can confirm that Nic, 25, and Olandria, 28, decided to part ways. (Us has reached out to reps for comment.)<\/p>\n

The pair met while filming season 7 of Peacock\u2019s hit series Love Island USA. Olandria originally formed a connection with Taylor Williams and Nic was paired off with Cierra Ortega before a show shakeup led to them exploring their chemistry.<\/p>\n

Since their time in the villa came to an end, Olandria and Nic preferred to keep their romance out<\/a> of the public eye.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLove Island USA\u2019s Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen thought their second-chance romance was fate, but what they didn\u2019t realize was how much fan interest inspired their season 7 relationship. The Peacock dating show, which returned in June 2025, started off with Nic coupling up with Belle-A Walker before turning his sights to bombshell Cierra Ortega. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this point, the critics and the critiques are just overdone,\u201d he exclusively told Us in May. \u201cI\u2019ve said all I need to say. At this point, it\u2019s just about not giving it any more attention.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nic clarified that his focus was on protecting their relationship<\/a> from outside commentary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just intuition. I know the boundaries [I have for] myself and how much to share and what not to share,\u201d he explained about finding a balance on social media. \u201cLately, not revealing too much about my personal life has been so nice for the both of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nic also credited \u201cblocking people\u201d and setting boundaries online. Despite creating some distance between himself and social media, Nic still enjoyed throwing out \u201cbreadcrumbs\u201d when it came to milestones in his and Olandria\u2019s relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll be hanging out, and I\u2019ll take a picture where her hand will be in the photo. And people will see, so it\u2019s kind of funny,\u201d he quipped.<\/p>\n
