Polarizing boxing star Jake Paul claims multiple National Football League teams have reached out to potentially sign him as a wide receiver.<\/p>\n
Jake Paul\u2019s boxing future remains uncertain as he continues to recover from a jaw injury suffered against former heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua last year. For the first time in his career, Paul was stopped in the ring as Joshua dropped him multiple times en route to a TKO win.<\/p>\n
Despite teasing multiple announcements about his return in 2026, nothing has come to fruition for Paul. He\u2019s also hinted at potentially fighting former UFC superstar Nate Diaz<\/a> in Mixed Martial Arts after outpointing Diaz in the boxing ring earlier in his career.<\/p>\n Paul recently admitted that his days competing in the boxing ring could be numbered, especially after his recent health issues<\/a> since the Joshua fight. As Paul looks to the future, he claims he\u2019s already been approached for a move to one of the biggest platforms on the planet: the National Football League.<\/p>\n Jake Paul says he has \u2018better hands, faster, stronger\u2019 than modern NFL wide receivers<\/p>\n In a recent interview with Front Office Sports<\/a>, Paul was asked about his NFL aspirations and raised eyebrows with his answer.<\/p>\n Jake Paul tells FOS that he has talked to \u201ca couple [NFL] teams and coaches\u201d who are interested in bringing him on to their roster.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is a lot of super mediocrity in the NFL. I think there\u2019s a lot of super mediocrity in the NFL and a lot of not good athletes,\u201d Paul said.<\/p>\n \u201cA lot of people dropping passes on a consistent basis. I have better hands, faster, stronger, and I work harder than them. Really all it\u2019s going to take is me, after boxing, practicing some routes. I have a couple of teams and coaches who have already spoken with me and are interested in bringing me on. It\u2019s going to be quite easy.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to go to the Cleveland Browns, been a Browns fan my entire life,\u201d Paul continued. \u201cMy Mom is a diehard Browns fan, and I think they could use some good receivers over there.\u201d<\/p>\n After Paul\u2019s comments went viral on social media, fans weren\u2019t very supportive of his ambitions.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to see this jacka\u2013 get lit up, but he\u2019d have to get on the field for that to happen. Not happening,\u201d one fan wrote on X<\/a> about Paul.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m still laughing about Jake Paul thinking he is faster. F\u2014\u2014 [Joe Flacco] could take him in the 40,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe worst NFL player is leagues better than Jake Paul.
