What will it be about?

The reunion gives the couples a chance to spill on life after the show – and for viewers to find out who’s still going strong and who’s already called it quits.

The reunion was filmed about a month after the season finished shooting. But that’s nothing compared to the gap between filming wrapping up and the show airing – and there’s a lot that can change behind the scenes.

Former contestant Keeley Rankin previously told Woman’s Day just how much can shift in that time.

“I just want to reiterate that Farmer is filmed a long time before we see it, and there’s a lot of time for people to realise that maybe off-camera versus on-camera are very different things, and people’s lives change in that amount of time.”

She added, “So I’m looking forward to seeing the reunion, but I’m also looking forward to seeing all of the social media posts afterwards to see if people have lasted since the reunion as well.”

While there are rumours of some couples having already gone their separate ways, only time will tell who has made it off the farm and into forever!

What actually happens at the reunion?

Keeley spilled all the juicy details about what actually happens behind the scenes on the day, revealing to Woman’s Day: “Reunion is a long day, but not as long as some of the events! If I recall correctly, we had to be ready mid-morning/early afternoon, but all of the ladies are taken to the filming location at different times, whilst the farmers are separately there all day.”

She added that she found it strange it was filmed just a month after the farmers made their decisions, as it didn’t allow much time for the relationships to change much. “I found reunion a bit funny given it was only a month after final decisions and doesn’t really allow enough time to lapse for people to have made any big changes. It felt especially like you were being squeezed for that last bit of drama.”

Keeley also shared a moment from the day that she thinks was orchestrated by production to drum up drama: “I remember specifically that the farmers were told their ladies couldn’t hear their interviews, so they were free to talk openly, when each lady was actually at the top of the stairs listening and waiting to be cued down. It can be quite uncomfortable hearing your partner talk about their prior connections when you’ve been out of the experience and together for a while, so I think they intentionally keep you separated and then get you to listen in to make it look more tense on the couch so the audience is guessing if you’re still together.”

As for what the dynamic is like in the room, she shared: “I found everyone really mature regardless of whether they were together or not. Overall, it was lovely catching up with everyone, but I do wish more positives were showcased rather than the what ifs.
