On Wednesday, the Kansas City Royals<\/a> will finish their series with the San Francisco Giants<\/a> (at home).<\/p>\n

UPDATE: The Royals won 5-4.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the game, the Royals announced the news that they had selected the contract of Andrew Velazquez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Velazquez has yet to appear in an MLB<\/a> game this season.<\/p>\n

He has spent part of six seasons in the MLB with the Tampa Bay Rays<\/a>, Cleveland Guardians<\/a>, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old was with the Yankees during the 2021 season.<\/p>\n
