The last event was in early June and how the league is back this week with its event in the United Kingdom at JCB Golf & Country Club in Staffordshire, England. The usual cast will, for now, play for the overall $30 million purse with the winner taking home $4 million and the winning team splitting $3 million.

LIV Golf’s top draw, Bryson DeChambeau, was the biggest newsmaker last week at the British Open at Royal Birkdale, despite not winning. His rules fiasco late Friday was a sight to behold. But he’s in England looking for his third victory this season after wins in Singapore and South Africa. He’s second in the season-long standings behind Jon Rahm, who has won this year in Hong Kong and Mexico City but has been more consistent. Rahm can wrap up the individual season title if he wins and DeChambeau finishes in a three-way tie for second place or worse.

RELATED: LIV Golf’s uncertain future sees significant interest for players in DP World Tour for 2027

The status of the league remains in flux. In just the past weeks two newsworthy items popped up that suggested it may not have much time left. First, the DP World Tour and PGA Tour announced a partnership with the Asian Tour, which previously has partnered with LIV Golf and was seen as a way to create some co-sanctioned events for 2027. Secondly, news has started to leak that the team championship slated for late August in Michigan is not going to happen. If that’s the case, only the events in New York and Indianapolis remain following this week.

Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.

Here’s the purse breakdown in England

INDIVIDUAL

WIN: $4 million

2: $2.25 million

3: $1.5 million

4: $1 million

5: $800,000

6: $700,000

7: $600,000

8: $525,000

9: $442,500

10: $405,000

11: $380,000

12: $360,000

13: $340,000

14: $320,000

15: $300,000

16: $285,000

17: $270,000

18: $260,000

19: $250,000

20: $240,000

21: $230,000

22: $220,000

23: $210,000

24: $200,000

25: $195,000

26: $190,000

27: $185,000

28: $180,000

29: $175,000

30: $170,000

31: $165,000

32: $160,000

33: $155,000

34: $150,000

35: $148,000

36: $145,000

37: $143,000

38: $140,000

39: $138,000

40: $135,000

41: $133,000

42: $130,000

43: $128,000

44: $128,000

45: $125,000

46: $125,000

47: $50,000

48: $50,000

49: $50,000

50: $50,000

51: $50,000

52: $50,000

53: $50,000

54: $50,000

55: $50,000

56: $50,000

57: $50,000

TEAM

WIN: $3 million

2: $1.5 million

3: $900,000

4: $700,000

5: $650,000

6: $600,000

7: $550,000

8: $500,000

9: $450,000

10: $400,000

This article was originally published on golfdigest.com

July 24th, 2026 By Australian Golf Digest It’s been a while since we’ve seen LIV Golf in action…

[566
4225,64,63,755,138747,85
post-819672","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-golf","tag-article","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-golf","tag-golf-digest","tag-sports
["GET
