But he&#8217;s fine now,&#8221; Sarah said to her colleagues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">RELATED:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;He&#8217;s so precious. I think he looks like his dad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sarah said the family have been in their own little bubble since Sonny&#8217;s arrival, and that she couldn&#8217;t imagine life without him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;This is our world, and everything&#8217;s so special. Nothing else matters,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sarah also thanked everyone in the hospital who had helped her get through the last two weeks.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Sarah holding her baby while her colleagues expressed their joy.\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/https:\/\/d29szjachogqwa.cloudfront.net\/images\/user-uploaded\/sarah_3089.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Sarah introduced Sonny to the world.<\/p>\n<p>(Channel 9)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">She said that his arrival had been a bit of a bumpy ride, and she was only just supposed to be going on maternity leave now to prepare for his arrival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sarah also apologised to fans of the breakfast television show for not being able to say goodbye properly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Fans and friends were quick to wish Sarah well for the massive news.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Congratulations, beautiful soul, so beyond happy for you. Hope you&#8217;re both doing well,&#8221; said one.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;So happy for you, enjoy these special moments,&#8221; added another.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah&#8217;s journey to motherhood<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sarah announced her pregnancy in March, with the 39-year-old admitting it had been a <a data-ylk=\"slk:difficult journey;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;cpos:5;pos:1;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;outcm:mb_qualified_link;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/au.lifestyle.yahoo.com\/brutal-perfection-trend-making-aussie-parents-stressed-overwhelmed-stuff-the-rest-041855145.html\" class=\"link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">difficult journey<\/a> to get pregnant after losing a baby last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">But she was overjoyed to share that she was expecting once again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;It&#8217;s not as easy as you I suppose sometimes think that pregnancy will be,&#8221; she said at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;It has been a bit of a bumpy ride, but here we are, and yes, it&#8217;s getting harder to hide.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;As much as I&#8217;d like to bury my head in the sand and not address it. We&#8217;re almost halfway now, so things are going well.
