Perth has woken to another bitterly cold morning but the winter chill will quickly give way to sunshine.<\/p>\n
Early risers braved the cold as the mercury dipped to just 3.6C at 7.02am on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Despite the frosty start, the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a mostly sunny day with a top of 21C and a 95 per cent chance of no rain.<\/p>\n
Light north-easterly winds will become northerly through the middle of the day before easing during the afternoon, making for ideal conditions to get outdoors.<\/p>\n
But the sunshine won\u2019t last all weekend.<\/p>\n
Cloud will increase on Sunday as a cold front approaches, bringing a high chance of morning showers and a cooler top of 19C.<\/p>\n
North-westerly winds will swing south-westerly during the day as the front moves through.<\/p>\n
Conditions improve again on Monday, with a slight chance of an isolated shower, a top of 19C and light winds.<\/p>\n
Another cold morning is expected on Tuesday, with temperatures falling to 6C before reaching 18C under partly cloudy skies.<\/p>\n
The middle of next week will bring a welcome burst of sunshine, with Wednesday forecast to reach 21C after a crisp 7C start.<\/p>\n
Thursday is shaping as the pick of the week, with mostly sunny skies and a mild top of 22C.<\/p>\n
A few showers are expected to return on Friday, although rainfall totals are forecast to remain light with only a medium chance of showers.<\/p>\n
