For the sixth time in the last seven seasons the Colorado College women’s tennis team was honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as an All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 season. In addition to the team recognition, 10 student-athletes were named ITA Scholar Athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any member program that has a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners were factored into the cumulative team GPA of 3.75 for the 2025-26 academic year.<\/p>\n
Individually, recent graduates Lindsay Popeo<\/a> and Abby Wilson<\/a>, rising seniors Avery Hickman<\/a>, Kala Komanduri<\/a> and Marina Seidl<\/a>, rising juniors Ally Lowe<\/a>, Amelia Karr<\/a>, Lucia Moravek<\/a> and Meredith Waters<\/a>, and rising sophomore Sofia Reuter<\/a> were named to the Scholar-Athlete list.<\/p>\n In 2026, 1775 women’s tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction, while 1,309 Division III women’s student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, having a minimum 3.5 GPA for the academic year.<\/p>\n In addition to their excellence in the classroom, the Tigers won the first conference title and earned the second appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament in program history.
