Remove items from your saved list<\/a> to add more.<\/p>\n AAA<\/p>\n A 17-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after allegedly being stabbed in the head and back in Newtown on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n Emergency services were called to the intersection of King Street and Camden Street in Newtown about 12.30am, with reports that a teenager had been assaulted by a group of people who then left.<\/p>\n Paramedics treated the boy for \u201cmultiple stab wounds to his head and back,\u201d NSW Police said. He was later taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.<\/p>\n Footage shows a male wearing a black puffer jacket and no shirt standing under police guard with blood on his hands. Police later taped paper bags around his hand.<\/p>\n An 18-year-old was arrested at the scene and was charged with affray before being released on conditional bail.<\/p>\n Police said officers had \u201cestablished the 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old known to him were allegedly involved in an affray with three unknown males, before the unknown males allegedly stabbed the 17-year-old boy\u201d.<\/p>\n Two knives were recovered at the scene.
