USA Center Dominic Besag has signed to play for the Sharks<\/a> in Durban, South Africa. The Californian will play for the Durban-based side in the 2026-2027 United Rugby Championship (URC) season. The move sees one of the most exciting USA players joining a professional rugby giant.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Dom Besag is already a veteran USA Eagle despite being just 21-years-old. His most recent cap was his 21st test cap which he earned in the recent World Rugby Nations Cup. It was a 29-22 victory over Spain<\/a>. Besag was a regular for the Eagles in the World Rugby Nations Cup in July. The USA went undefeated in home matches against Spain<\/a>, Portugal<\/a> and Zimbabwe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Besag started at inside center for the USA throughout July. He was a try scorer on the Fourth of July against Portugal in Denver<\/a>. The USA Eagles\u2019 results helped the team confirm themselves as No. 2 in the Americas and 14th in the World Rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The native of Danville, California made his test debut for the USA against Georgia in 2023. He joins the Sharks from St. Mary\u2019s College.<\/p>\n
