However, he\u2019s produced a 6-19-5 record, which is the worst among all the puckstoppers. Obviously, Golden Knights fans love to see Gibson in the opponents\u2019 crease, but how do they feel when facing other netminders, especially those with winning records against their club? Today, we take a look at three current NHL goalies who Vegas fans love to hate.<\/p>\n<p> Current NHL goalies Golden Knights fans love to hate3. Brandon Bussi &#8211; Carolina Hurricanes<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-3\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"60\">Brandon Bussi has never faced the Golden Knights in the regular season. Still, with his brilliant relief appearance in the 2026 Stanley Cup Final, he\u2019s become an instant villain to hockey fans in Nevada. Stepping into the series in Game 3, losing 5-4 in double overtime, Bussi would then <a href=\"https:\/\/vegashockeyknight.com\/sunday-thoughts-about-the-journey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">pick up three straight wins<\/a>, including a 22-save shutout in Game 6 to help the Carolina Hurricanes hoist the Stanley Cup.<\/p>\n<p>2. Sergei Bobrovsky &#8211; Toronto Maple Leafs<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"69\">Unlike Bussi, the Golden Knights <a href=\"https:\/\/vegashockeyknight.com\/the-golden-knights-made-the-correct-move-in-not-pursuing-a-new-goaltender\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">got the best of Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> in their only playoff meeting, back in the 2023 Stanley Cup Final, when Vegas won their only championship. Despite going 1-4 in the series, Bobrovsky\u2019s regular-season totals tell a different story. Through 11 meetings, the Russian netminder is 8-3-0 with a .913 SV% and 2.40 GAA with two shutouts. Moreover, with just 26 goals against, his totals are the second-fewest by any netminder with at least 10 appearances against Vegas. <\/p>\n<p>1. Jake Oettinger &#8211; Dallas Stars<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6f\">Just like many high-profile players across the league, <a href=\"https:\/\/vegashockeyknight.com\/the-golden-knights-recent-track-record-vs-the-dallas-stars-will-terrify-you\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dallas Stars netminder Jake Oettinger<\/a> deserves his own Golden Knights villain profile. Although he plays in the Western Conference, Oettinger doesn\u2019t face Vegas as much as everyone thinks, with only 12 career games on his resume. However, he\u2019s 8-2-2 in those meetings, producing a .914 SV% and the lowest GAA, 2.34, among puckstoppers with 10 games.
