Aussie golfer<\/a> Lucas Herbert has stunned the sport for the second time in nine days by carding a record low score to win LIV Golf<\/a> UK.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old Victorian finished 30-under to win the event by six shots on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

It is the lowest score ever carded at a LIV event, while Herbert\u2019s 30 birdies were also a league record, along with two eagles made.<\/p>\n

Herbert shot 10 birdies in the final round to card a 62, just nine days after he also shot a round of 62 at the British Open and narrowly missed out on shooting the first ever 61<\/a> in major championship history.<\/p>\n

He finished tied for sixth at the British Open<\/a> and followed up that stellar performance with a LIV record victory.<\/p>\n

His Aussie Ripper GC teammates Cameron Smith<\/a>, Marc Leishman, and Travis Smyth showered him in champagne after he sank a monster birdie putt on the 18th hole to cement victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel amazing. I was playing great last week, I just wanted to carry the form into this week, and I don\u2019t think I could have carried it any better,\u201d Herbert said immediately after the win.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was fun. If that\u2019s not my best stuff it\u2019s pretty close to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty easy to get into the flow state when you\u2019re playing like that. You kind of get out of your own way a bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ecstatic. Putt on the last was a great sealer I think.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this is not a hot streak, I don\u2019t know what is. Pretty happy with this form at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Herbert also went wire-to-wire to win LIV Virginia in May.<\/p>\n
