NORTHAMPTON host King\u2019s Lynn in tonight\u2019s (Monday) ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixture with the home side looking to build on a positive display last week.<\/p>\n
The Foxes drew 45-45 in a thriller against Sheffield and are now targeting a second win overall, with their opponents under pressure as they bid to return to the play-off places.<\/p>\n
The Stars were beaten at home by Belle Vue last week, one of several setbacks at the Adrian Flux Arena this season, and they require points on the road to be able to get back into the top four.<\/p>\n
Northampton manager Chris Adams said: \u201cAn aggregate point is up for grabs and I\u2019m hoping we can find those 49 points and steal a bonus which will make more of a difference in our fight for league places towards the end of the season.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are eight meetings to go now in the league campaign with five of those fixtures being home ones and three left away. There\u2019s a handful of aggregate points up for grabs also, so it\u2019s time now to see if we can add to our tally.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve said all year that the way our season was planned from the start it would look a bit like this, but now it\u2019s down to our boys to see if they can pull it off.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stars boss Rob Lyon said: \u201cNorthampton are certainly not pushovers, and it\u2019s not going to be an easy meeting.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got to go there with a positive attitude, try and get a result, and just keep pushing until it\u2019s nigh-on impossible.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is a way to go yet, and I think teams will probably drop points against each other, which will potentially help us \u2013 but it\u2019s going to be tight.\u201d<\/p>\n
