Anglesey Circuit in Wales was awash with some of the world\u2019s best motorcycle riders this past weekend as the FIM Trial GP\u00a0rolled into town alongside a brand-new three-day Moto Fest<\/a> celebration \u2013 offering road and circuit test rides, adventure bike experiences, guest talks from the likes of John McGuinness<\/a>, and much more. MCN was there for the duration, and acted as media partner for the event. <\/p>\n

\"Norton<\/p>\n

Running from July 24-26 at the stunning coastal circuit, visitors were treated to a masterclass in motorcycle control from 39-time world champion Toni Bou<\/a> \u2013 who took the overall win after tackling huge rockery sections in the track paddock, as well as a series of jagged, rock pool laden runs across the picturesque Anglesey coastline.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a really complete weekend, with us taking the maximum possible points,\u201d Bou said following the victory. \u201cI\u2019m very happy with how everything is going this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Visitors to the Moto Fest event could watch the trials action at no extra cost, with a full weekend ticket including two nights of camping priced at \u00a395.<\/p>\n

On top of this, there was the chance to sample the latest new metal from Triumph<\/a>, Norton<\/a>, Kawasaki<\/a>, BMW<\/a>, Moto Morini, Hero, and more \u2013 with racing legends including James Whitham, John McGuinness, Storm Stacey<\/a>, and Dan Linfoot<\/a> on hand to entertain fans across a series of live stage talks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got up early this morning quite excited because it\u2019s a good place,\u201d McGuinness told MCN on the Saturday. \u201cThis track \u2013 you very rarely get to it \u2013 and the drive down was nice, pulling into the circuit was nice, and there\u2019s loads of camping, loads of enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been down watching the trials and the top GP boys were just another level. It\u2019s pretty gob-smacking really,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\"TrialGP<\/p>\n

Whitham\u2019s team also ran the track riding experiences across the weekend, with 2024 Endurance World Champion, Linfoot bringing along his specially prepared\u00a0Superpole PillionXperience<\/a> Suzuki GSX-R1000R<\/a> superbikes to take customers for five flying laps of the scenic course.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a really good time at Moto Fest. I know Anglesey really well, because we do a lot of trackdays here through the year,\u201d Whitham added. \u201cIt\u2019s good to see the place bouncing with people, different events going on, and actually it\u2019s attracted a lot of different kinds of riders.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got your adventure<\/a> people, your naked<\/a> people, some sportsbike riders<\/a> \u2013 obviously trials enthusiasts \u2013 and I\u2019ve really enjoyed it. I wish I\u2019d had more time to look round because there\u2019s plenty to look at.\u201d<\/p>\n

The roster of riders didn\u2019t end there either, with former factory British Superbike rider and road racer Jenny Tinmouth appearing on stage alongside vastly experienced TV and movie stunt rider Rick English to discuss their involvement in the world of riding motorcycles for Hollywood productions.<\/p>\n

Add to this live bands, plus off-road adventure, trials and enduro experiences, and it was a weekend to remember \u2013 with the MCN team<\/a> on hand all weekend to meet readers, take to the stage, and challenge visitors to load as much as they could onto our long-term test KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo<\/a> for the chance to win an Oxford Nomad luggage set.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a bit of an adventure, really,\u201d visiting father and son duo, William and Charlie Reece said. \u201cMy son Charlie just passed his CBT, so we decided to ride from\u00a0Milton\u00a0Keynes\u00a0to\u00a0here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riding a four-stroke 50cc motorcycle across three days to reach the event, the pair then camped on site, with William adding: \u201cIt\u2019s\u00a0been a proper like father\u00a0to son adventure.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0been wicked.\u201d<\/p>\n
