{"id":827656,"date":"2026-07-27T20:40:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T20:40:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/827656\/"},"modified":"2026-07-27T20:40:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T20:40:09","slug":"darren-till-vs-yoel-romero-booked-for-bkfc-event-in-manchester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/827656\/","title":{"rendered":"Darren Till vs. Yoel Romero booked for BKFC event in Manchester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Darren Till has his second bare-knuckle fight scheduled, and this time, he\u2019s taking on a former UFC title challenger in Yoel Romero as they headline the upcoming BKFC event in Manchester, England on Sept. 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">BKFC president David Feldman announced the matchup on Monday via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bi1c9fDCxGc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yahoo.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The fight takes place at 190 pounds with event taking place at the AO Arena in Manchester.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">After teasing a potential move to bare-knuckle for several years, Till finally pulled the trigger after signing a multi-fight deal with BKFC. He made his debut back in May and after suffering a flash knockdown in the opening round, Till came storming back and delivered a brutal knockout win over Aaron Chalmers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Now he\u2019ll face a much bigger opponent with Romero returning to BKFC after scoring a knockout in his debut with the promotion back in 2025.
