Apparently, Parnasse\u2019s fans are on another level.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think maybe because BSD, he\u2019s obviously French as well, my last opponent, I feel like because he\u2019s just such a respectful guy,\u201d Hooker said. \u201cThe people that follow him or support him aren\u2019t complete f\u2014king c\u2014ts. But whoever this c\u2014t\u2019s fans are, they are outrageous.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite the ugly messages, Hooker does not sound intimidated. In fact, the whole thing seems to have made him even more motivated to spoil Parnasse\u2019s UFC debut in front of his home crowd.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s going to feel pretty sweet shutting this kid\u2019s lights out,\u201d Hooker said. \u201cMaking these guys eat their words. I don\u2019t feel like the UFC has it out for me. I just feel like they think I\u2019m the only one dumb enough to fight a kid that is unranked.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m here to ruin hopes and dreams,\u201d Hooker continued. \u201cThis kid wants to come in, make a name for himself, crack the top 10. He wants to be a superstar, but I\u2019m going to fly to France, and I\u2019m going to f\u2014k everyone\u2019s night up. That\u2019s my plan.\u201d<\/p>\n
So, yeah, Hooker is leaning into the villain role.<\/p>\n
Parnasse gets his UFC debut. France gets its new hopeful. And Hooker gets a hostile main event in enemy territory.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Hangman\u201d seems just fine with that, and he might even enjoy it.<\/p>\n
