Moses Itauma<\/a> has refused to be regarded as boxing\u2019s most dangerous heavyweight, believing that one of his nearest rivals is more deserving of such a menacing status.<\/p>\n

While the 21-year-old may not admit to being the most formidable puncher, his performances would certainly suggest he is in the conversation.<\/p>\n

Particularly destructive was his fifth-round stoppage of Jermaine Franklin<\/a>, a typically durable heavyweight, who he ruthlessly dropped and dispatched in March.<\/p>\n

Now, Itauma is gearing up for a seemingly tougher challenge against Filip Hrgovic<\/a>, who is expected to offer plenty of resistance at London\u2019s O2 Arena on August 29.<\/p>\n

If he proves successful against Hrgovic, a consensus top 10 heavyweight, then it should be just a matter of time before the unbeaten knockout artist secures a world title shot.<\/p>\n

Already a world champion, meanwhile, is Daniel Dubois<\/a>, who claimed his WBO strap by dethroning Fabio Wardley with an 11th-round finish in May.<\/p>\n

\u2018Dynamite\u2019 has also previously held the IBF title, which he defended with a fifth-round stoppage of Anthony Joshua<\/a> before losing by the same verdict to Oleksandr Usyk<\/a> in July 2025.<\/p>\n

Speaking with DAZN<\/a>, Itauma named the 28-year-old \u2013 with whom he appears to be on a collision course \u2013 as the division\u2019s most dangerous operator.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo [it\u2019s not me or Hrgovic], I think the most dangerous heavyweight is Daniel Dubois. You [wouldn\u2019t] really wanna meet him in an alleyway, would you?<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you were to ask me who I\u2019d pick [to fight alongside] in a 2 v 2 fight, I\u2019d pick Daniel Dubois.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t get me wrong \u2013 I\u2019d fight Daniel. But I\u2019d want him as my teammate [in a 2 v 2 scenario].\u201d<\/p>\n
