\n\tTramell Tillman is in his boss era. On Monday night, the actor stepped out on the red carpet<\/a> for the Los Angeles premiere of \u201cSpider Man: Brand New Day,\u201d debuting his long anticipated \u200arole as William \u201cBill\u201d Metzger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLast night feels unreal,\u201d says Tillman, the morning after the premiere. \u201cI\u2019m basking in the moment right now. I have to look through the photos to remind myself that it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHis role in the film<\/a> has drawn speculation an fan theories in months leading up to the release. In the comic books, Metzger is an X-Men villain, and Tillman\u2019s role paves the way for future appearances \u2014 perhaps for the \u201cX-Men\u201d Phase 7 film, currently in development.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u200aIt was a lot of love in the room, a lot of excitement,\u201d Tillman said of the premiere crowd\u2019s reaction to discovering his character on screen. \u201cWatching the film<\/a> with those who didn\u2019t know anything about it, hearing the cheers, the gasps \u2014 it is so thrilling. I think that\u2019s what\u2019s so special about the moviegoing experience,\u201d he adds. \u201cI believe people were really excited and pleased with how this movie turned out. This story has a lot of heart, and there\u2019s a lot of beauty to it. I think audiences, once it becomes available globally, will really see themselves within this story and appreciate it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor Tillman, the highlight of the premiere was sharing the moment with his team, including his manager, agent, publicist, stylist and makeup team. \u201cThe last time we were together was for the Emmys,\u201d adds Tillman, who won the Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series last September for his role in Apple TV series \u201cSeverance.\u201d \u201c\u200aAnd now to share a childhood dream coming true \u2014 and to share that moment with my team \u2014 is quite a gift. \u200aI wouldn\u2019t be where I am if I didn\u2019t have a team of people to support me and push me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWorking with longtime stylist Chaise Dennis, Tillman opted for a double-breasted pinstripe Tom Ford suit and polka dot tie, paired with a Jaeger LeCoultre watch from the brand\u2019s new collection and Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c[Dennis] asked me, \u2018So what\u2019s the vibe? What do you wanna go with?\u2019 And I couldn\u2019t tell him much. I just told him that I really wanted to look sharp and clean. He pulled so many different looks that fit the bill, and there was one particular look specifically that locked in, and it was the Tom Ford suit,\u201d Tillman says. \u201cAfter [seeing] the movie, he understood why we went with that suit,\u201d he adds. \u201c\u200aTo really feel like a boss was exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTillman has been collaborating with Dennis for the past four years, and credits the ease of their working relationship for creating memorable fashion moments on and off the red carpet.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u200aWe\u2019ve been fortunate to be on best-dressed lists across the board and go to fashion shows<\/a>, and to set a platform for me to be really considered in fashion spaces,\u201d Tillman says. \u201cI\u2019ve always had an appreciation for looking good and really quality material, and I\u2019m grateful for those doors to have been opened \u2014 and Chase is a big part of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith \u201cSpider-Man\u201d out in theaters on Friday, Tillman is already heading back to work, where he\u2019s channeling a different sort of boss energy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cJust yesterday, I believe it was Dan Erickson, creator of \u2018Severance,\u2019 shared a post with a photo of Mark S. and Helly running through the hallways. And in the caption, it read something to the effect of, \u2018It\u2019s great to be back at work.\u2019 So if that tells you anything, right after my work here in L.A., I will be going back to work,\u201d Tillman says. \u201c\u200aThere\u2019s no rest for me \u2014 and I don\u2019t mind it too much. If you\u2019re fortunate to do what you love, you never work any day of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n
